Sunday

This week was crazy...

The first thing that happen was my sister and her family showed up at our door from Ohio. We were all so surprised and happy at the same time. We love to see them.

The second thing Graham had surgery on Thursday. He has had so many ear infections and need tubes. All went well and he was great. This will be so nice not to have him screaming because his ear hurts, and you know that only happens in the middle of the night.

The third thing was an Er visit yesterday. So Randee, my sister, needed a ride to the airport so I didn't mind to do it. So she came over and we were running around getting things done. When we hear a big crash. I see Weston on the ground not crying or anything. So with out notice he is screaming. We look at his foot and there was blood gushing out everywhere. He was playing with his nightlight. This is not your grandmothers nightlight. It's a metal rocket. I think it weights 3 lbs. He dropped it right on his big toe splitting his big toenail in half. So we wraped it up and we were off to the ER. It was pretty nasty. He got cleaned up and had xrays. The good news is he is ok but has a hairline fracture. So no swimming for a week. I think that is the hard part for him. Let's pray next week is better.

Wednesday

Opening night at the best show on earth

I haven't been to the Circus for years and I was happy to take my kids. I was even more happy that we went for free. I won a 4 pack of tickets. We were 15 rows up. The seats and the view were incredible. This is Weston during the pre-show. If you come early you are invited to see the acts close up. Weston wanted to see the train the circus rides to town. So he was a little disappointed. But, it didn't take him long to turn that frown upside down.

She was amazing! Here are the elephants painting. These girls were huge.
Here is the huge door that all the wonderful acts came out of.

Double trouble. They were crazy for going in that thing.

All Bristol wanted was an elephant. She was so happy.

This really is the best show on earth.

Monday

Summer fun

The slide was really slippery. We were flying'. Weston loved this slide.
The next Mohammad Ali.
NO CLIMBING IN HOOP. Bristol can't read, as you can see. Silly girl.

G and H got in the action.

We went to BounceU and had a blast. Our friends came with us. We were the only ones there. We loved it!

Wednesday

She also did my new header.!

Tuesday

To Ruth and everyone else......

For those interested.....

.......there is a running "class"/workout every Tuesday and Thursday night. It's held at the small track behind the YMCA on Mesa Dr. just south of University. You do not need a YMCA membership to participate (I don't have one). It starts at 7:00pm and lasts about an hour. Runners of all experience and ages come. The "coach" is a great motivator and has new/different workouts each time. Which makes it nice because you'd think running around a track would be boring and repetitive. But it's not.

I LOVE IT!!

So come.

And then stop coming if you don't like it.

But at least give it a try.

Free summer lunch program

If you didn't know there is free lunch at local schools across the east valley.
My kids love it!. We eat at Kino Jr. High from 11am-12:30 pm. Monday thru Thursday.
I know how hard it is to cook in the summer so why not have someone else do it for you.
Here is the link so you can find a school near you. Free lunch. They also serve breakfast.

Saturday

happy fathers day

I like to get gifts that are different. So for an early Fathers day present We got Brian Glenn Beck tickets. Brian is a huge fan. Glenn was great. He was to the point and reminded us what our country is all about. FREEDOM. We had an amazing time. Will see what he comes up with next year so we can see him again. I think a tradition is born.
